The children's author David Walliams parted ways with longtime publisher.
Best-selling writer for children and entertainer David Walliams is no longer with his UK book publisher, the company has said.
A representative for the firm said: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its fresh leadership, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing additional books by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the move was made after an review of reports of conduct deemed unsuitable towards young women.
The company declined to specify the motivations for this action, adding: "We do not comment on confidential company decisions."
A Prolific Publishing History
Walliams ranks among Britain's most successful children's authors, with sales exceeding in excess of 60 million copies internationally in dozens of tongues.
His inaugural foray into kids' literature, *The Boy in the Dress*, was released through HarperCollins in 2008.
Some of his works, for example *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have also been adapted into TV movies.
To date, he has released over four dozen titles altogether, encompassing a holiday title titled *Santa & Son*, which was published by HarperCollins in October.

His career breakthrough occurred on the television comedy show *Little Britain* and has additionally received National Television Awards for his work as a judge on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was awarded an OBE in 2017 honoring his contributions to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's freshly installed boss this past October.
