Edwards and O'Neil each possess past links with the club

Edwards and Gary O'Neil are two of the initial names in the frame to replace the former manager as manager of Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Pereira was sacked on Sunday following the squad's 10-match without a victory start to the top-flight campaign.
Furthermore both candidates - both of who have historic links to the team - are part of the options to be considered by the club leadership.
The manager is presently at Middlesbrough, which would create a possible hurdle to his appointment at Wolves' stadium.
However the ex- Luton Town head coach - who made more than 100 of games for the club during his time as a player - is considered a strong contender for the vacancy.
The mid-career manager is said to have backing from the Wolves board as they start the search of appointing a new manager.
O'Neil is also appearing as a surprise candidate, although he would be a surprising appointment considering he was sacked by the club in December last year.
The ex- West Ham player is out of work meaning the club would not be required to pay any buyout fee.
