In a new development, a Los Angeles court official agreed to bar the disclosure of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, after an appeal from the Los Angeles Police Department.
A court order put a restriction on the files to prohibit the public release of "all case details, evidence and photographs" connected to the ongoing investigation.
The Medical Examiner's office had already determined their deaths were the result of foul play, with a public database noting the cause as "wounds from an edged weapon".
